This year's mood for the collection draws upon the gestures expressed in Resort 25. Referencing waves and ruffles, creating drama through softness of touch and a fluidity all too feminine and languid.
The pallet is purely white. Textural nods of pressed organza cascade flounce around, enveloping zones on the body with purity and effortless polish.
Silhouettes are distinctly restrained. The precision is in the line expressed. The drapery of fine jersey, like modern incarnations of classical goddesses. Waving panels controlled with crinoline shape sinuously around the curves of a woman. Slinky satin and finely frayed ribbon work complete the subtlety of textural additions.
The objective is to create something that fits a feeling one wants to evoke on their special day. An ease and simplicity of wear with a statement making presence (because of its refined ideal) makes all eyes look with interest and challenging the notion of what a modern bride should be.
