WINTER 2024 LOOK BOOK
The Edge Softened.
The Autumn-Winter Collection gives that sense of ease from Pre-Fall 24 more control, through
a cavalcade of sinuous folds, pleats, ruffles, and draping.
The ligament of the curved line feels so free here, even in all its controlled restrain. Like an artist's line finding the body, the fabric creates form by folding back on itself and drifting off into a faded line. Like a butter knife sculpting the supplest of leathers into forever pieces, to covet for a lifetime.
Sharp fringe edges and organic leaf-like arrays punctuate clothing. They feel like cubist expressions of the real world. Pearl heads punctuate luscious gathers like piercings into the skin. This collection poses the question that there is more underneath the surface of how we present ourselves. The idea that what’s underneath the surface of a woman, may not always be what she’s presenting.
These pieces are presented as armour with references to the Samurai. They help her to feel protected, indestructible, and secure. They keep her feeling beautiful and powerful all at once.
Shimmers of sequins, bathe against bonded fabrics. There is both toughness and assertiveness here.
This woman has a relaxed confidence. She is polished without trying. She understands that looking good reflects self-care, and the care you put in and on your body. She can pivot between “I’m elevating but also not giving a fuck” to bring something casual into that sphere of lady.
She relies on a coat to complete a look, a statement top or skirt to highlight an outfit or a dress that zips up in one step and glides over her. There is a playfulness of the darker type. This is her every day.
