CHIC ATTACK

If there was ever a statement of austere luxury, this is it. Profound profusions of texture, sinew of forms, waves and caves of the precious.

 Back to Black—yes, there’s plenty of black, but it’s far from ordinary. It is greatly textured, layered with movement, energy, lightness, control, and even bursts of flamboyance.

 The Maticevski F-You finger makes a subtle reappearance, hidden beneath waves of silk and spongy, airy crepes. Volumes are pushed to the limit, seen in overt exaggerated shoulders, sleeves, pant legs, and the blur of the human frame, with distorted sprays of pleated ruffles. 

But don’t mistake this for fragility. Soft and sensual, yes, but she is a master of transformation. She is a chameleon of distortion. A shapeshifter, morphing effortlessly from one form to another—always in control and with quiet defiance, telling you to elegantly f-off.

Her aura is rich, dark, and intoxicating, like the scent of oud. Studded diamante-draped dresses and dramatic sleeves lighten her chic attack. She’s still riding her bike through the night, but now, she’s beginning to emerge into the morning light. The sharp and warm light that breaks through the clouds to reveal a new day.

 Mottled light reflects off bruised leather finishes, while rich embossing on gilded mirror-like fabrics adds both lustre and shade. Micro-pleated waves ripple around the body, like musical notes leaping from the page, interacting with their surroundings in a fluid dance. 

A cinematic dance blurred through city lights and refractions. Caught in a rush, in the warmth of streetlights, a skyline glimmering with the radiating energy of life – she is hard to catch.
