The Pre-Fall collection explores a textural indulgence. There is an ease and effortless caress to this woman. She is a seducer with a soft touch. She is youthful, edgy and looking for pieces that are
unique and playful.

Maticevski demonstrates mastery in texture play through the combination of powdery tie-dye denim against layers of whispery haze tulle, tiny glistening sequins and cobweb-beaded lattice. There is denim-treated linen, tissue-thin silk stripes, bouncy 3D brocade rosettes and a crackling of painted
pleats that complement each other in the most unexpected of ways.

Even the most sublime texture and embellishment feel like a deep breath released. It feels like home. Fabrics are light and have movement and airiness.

The interplay of these textures against each other is the real magic. One enhances the other like the best of companions. They jar, drape, and fall whilst all sentimentally appreciating the other. There is a softer side. Even in the constructed forms and precision cutting, these fabrics are at ease on the body as they poetically frame it.

There are references to nostalgia, the modern and a haute approach to dressing.

This woman embodies the type of luxury we want for our every day.  She has a respect for all things beautiful. She allows this beauty to surround and encase her to bring a sense of calm and comfort.
